I partnered with a leading global streaming platform to design and manage a branded 4-month online research panel of 100 users. The panel supported diary studies, IDIs, usability testing, surveys, and concept testing, giving the client a scalable way to gather ongoing user insights. My role spanned participant management, study design, moderation, analysis, and reporting, delivering actionable recommendations that helped the UXR team accelerate decision-making, refine product strategy, and build deeper user empathy.

Branded Longitudinal User Research Panel

MIXED-METHODS POP-UP PANEL

Research Objectives

The client sought to establish a branded online research panel of 200 platform users to generate ongoing insights over four months. The panel aimed to:

  • Provide large-scale qualitative feedback on major product initiatives.

  • Accelerate decision-making and enhance UXR team efficiency.

  • Build empathy with stakeholders through continuous user engagement.

  • Allow for flexibility in research methodologies, including diary studies, surveys, usability testing, concept testing, and in-depth interviews (IDIs).

Key research questions included:

  • How do users engage with different product features and content experiences over time?

  • What unmet needs and pain points emerge in users’ day-to-day interactions with the platform?

  • How do users respond to new product concepts and usability changes?
